For increasing of efficiency, objectivity and quality of whole educational technology of the process of training and evaluating are separated. An Office Registrar is created for organization of education control of students’ quality of proficiency, which is directly submitted to the presidium.

There are two weeks to hold examination session in KazGASA.
To make schedule of exams is entrusted to the Office Registrar and Department of Distance Education and Testing (DDET). Schedule is confirmed 1 month before examination session. There are 2-4 complex exams for all specialties and directions of training during the session. All subjects are combined by similar and related principles.
Assessment of progress in study is not held only in period of session, also during the semester. All kinds of mid-term control are held by teachers 4 times after lessons during academic year (in the 8th and 15th week of each semester).

Mid-term control is held in the afternoon in a week. The results of mid-term are evaluated by 100% scale and noted down on examination-rating register.

Permit to exams is registered by the results of the 1st and the 2nd rating and attendance.
Examination session is held in time, which is pointed in academic calendar. All subjects are held by total control – exam. Forms of the exam are – computer testing, written and oral exams. Students can choose the language of passing exam (Kazakh or Russian). Oral exam is only held by permission of Vice-president on limited substantiation. Exams are held complexly, simultaneous 2-3 disciplines, which have logical accordance. It is admitted to pass exam on one or four disciplines. As a rule, freshmen pass exams by group.
A written or oral examination on each subject is held separately by examination cards. The questions of cards must be given clearly and laconic, answers are to be short and rich in content. The representative of Office Registrar is responsible for organization of exams. The teacher, who teaches subjects of complex examination have to be present at the examination. The representative of Office Registrar codes the answers and gives them to examine board for checking up after examination.
The total exam mark is considered mark which was taken at the examinations and average mark on making progress during semester, also the results of the 1st and the 2nd mid-term. Balance ratio of total mark is amounted as the followers: 60% contains the results which were taken from the exams and 40% the results of current results. The results of exams and total marks are shown on the board of the dean’s office before the next exam (for the last term till the end of session).
The students have rights to appeal during three days after rating control, which is held by subject appeal commission. It is approved by the dean of the department.
A person who can’t take part in rating control because of good reason, has rights to get permission for “Retake”, which is given by the deans of departments (or by director of college).

The student, who has average rating mark less than 50% (P-average), is not permitted to pass exam.

Mid-term control is held once at the end of theoretical course of the discipline for the part time students (P=P-average).
The students are permitted to pass examinations if they fulfill laboratory and control works, calculation-graphic, course papers and course projects. The students also are permitted to pass examination session if they pay for their studies according to the contract.
If the student is not able to pass exam on the good reason (if he/she has confirmed documents), he/she has rights to prolong the period of session. Application is to be written to the president by the student personally. If the student is ill, she/he has to give confirmed document about his/her illness during three days after treatment. The student or his/her legal representative (parents, wife or husband, in case of impossibilities for personal appeal) has to inform Office Registrar about the reason of absence till the end of examination session.

The results of exams are announced the same day of the examination. The information about progress in study of the students is on a site: www.esoft.kz

Students are able to hand in an application to Office Registrar personally by the following time:
- Computer testing or oral exams – the day of passing exams;
- Written exams – during three days after passing exam.
The appeal is taken by appeal commission orally by exam cards or computer testing.

To retake exam is not permitted.
Restudy the discipline (Retake) is organized in period of winter and summer holidays for the following students:
- who has mark “F” on 1-2 disciplines by the results of examination session;
- who does not have enough GPA for moving to the next course;
- if the student does not raise 1 level on language disciplines during semester;
- if the student does not fulfill the program of professional practice or who has mark “F” by the results of examination session on practice;
- who has more than 25% absence of the discipline.
