On the 23 January 2010 at 12 a.m. will be celebration devoted to 70th anniversary of doctor of technical sciences, professor Baytursunov D.M. (Adress: 28, Ryskulbekov street, Main administrative building, meeting hall of Academic Council)

The name of Baytursunov for each Kazakh is associated first of all with Ahmet Bajtursynova’s name, one of public figures of «Alash Hordes» who was subjected to repression and shot by the Soviet power. Our colleague Baytursunov Dias Madievich to whom today is 70 carries with pride a surname of this fighter from freedom and happiness of Kazakh people, trying not to lose honour and dignity of this name.
The Childhood of Dias Madievich has passed in Semipalatinsk region where he finished school. But all subsequent life is connected with Southern Kazakhstan — Shymkent, Taraz, Almaty. The student time began for him in 1958г. From the Kazakh chemical-technological university after graduating from begun teaching activity at the chair of «Building designs». After postgraduate study and detending in Moscow the dissertations of a scientific degree of Cand.Tech.Sci. Dias Madievich worked as a docent, then the head of the chair and the dean of the construction faculty of Zhambylsky hydromeliorative institute. On the basis of the textbooks written to it and methodical grants to by him the degree of academic professor of the Kazakh leading of architecture and civil engineering.

Was, given life there were many significant events, each of them separate history with pleasures and difficulties Today Dias Madievich is noted among veterans and professionals of teachers for ms erudition, willingness to help with advice and action and the heart of the companies and a deserved family man.
