THE ORDERS OF ADMISSION

to the Сollege and Lyceum at the Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture

and Civil Engineering in 2011

<i>Prepared on a basis of Typical rules of admission to train in organizations of education, which realize professional educational programs of technical and professional education (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 29.11.2007, №587, with changes and additions from 28.09.10); on a basis of Typical rules of admission in organizations of education, which realize general educational programs of primary, main secondary and general secondary education (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 25.12.2007, №651, with changes and additions from 28.07.2010). </i>

1. General rules

1. College at the Kazakh leading academy of architecture and civil engineering (further – College) realizes training of specialists with secondary education (main, general, technical and professional).

2. Training is carried out in State (Kazakh), Russian and English languages.

3. In college internal and correspondence training forms are conducted.

2. Rules of admission to College at KazGASA.

4. To college there can be admissible the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who have main secondary, general secondary, technical professional (primary professional), secondary professional (postsecondary) and also the persons of Kazakh nationality, who have citizenship of another countries, foreign citizens and persons without citizenships in prescribed manner by legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

5. The citizens who graduated from the technical and professional (primary, secondary), high (high professional) admitted on a special professional programs for short-training form.

6. In College on internal and correspondence training forms are carried out on following specialities:

0416000-Architecture (full-time training)

0402000-Design (on profile) (full- time training)

0515000-Management (in branches and fields of using)

0518000-Accountancy and audit (in branches)

0519000- Economics (in branches)

0713000-Geodesy and cartography

1401000- Construction and exploitation of buildings and structures

1404000-Cleaning constructions system of water supply and sewage

1412000-Manufacturing of building materials and constructions

1414000-Furniture manufacturing (on kinds)

1514000-Ecology and rational use of natural recourses (in branches)

7. Receiving the documents of the citizens arriving in College on a full-time course of study are carried out from July 20 to August 20, part -time study from June 20 to September 20. The entrance examinations of full- time study are conducted from August 1 to August 28, to part- time study from August 1 to September 25.

Receiving the documents to full- time study on specialties: 0416000, 0402000 are carried out from June 20 to July 20, special (creative) examinations are conducted from July 21 to July 28.

8. To apply for enrollment to College the applicants the following documents confirming the education, medical inquiry in form № 086-U, (persons with first and second group of disability and invalids from the childhood submit the conclusion of medical special expert commission), 4 photos of the size 3 x4 (for the art specialties 5 photos), the current year secondary school’s pupils the state certificate of general common national and complex testing results. Citizens, must present their identity card (identity card, passport or birth certificate) are presented personally. The application form of the entrants in form of study is registered and taken into account separately.

9. Foreigners and persons without citizenship represent the document on the right of constant residing in РК with a mark about registration in the place of residence: the foreigner — residence permit; the person without citizenship — the certificate of the person without citizenship; the refugee – the certificate of the refugee; оралман – the certificate оралмана.

10. The persons temporarily living in РК, represent a copy of documents proving identity or a copy of a migratory card.

11. The citizens who have given the certificate of complex testing (the graduates of last years participating in complex testing during the current year for receipt in higher educational institutions) or the certificate on results ЕНТ (graduates of the general secondary education of current year) are released from entrance examinations and are supposed to competition according to the conditions specified in point 14.

12. Entrance examinations are carried out for the citizens:

in tree subjects (who have general secondary education, technical and professional education) on the volume of academic program of general secondary education (Kazakh or Russian languages, the History of Kazakhstan and in subject of profile of speciality), including:

-for specialties 0416000”Architecture”, 0402000 "Design”- Kazakh/Russian languages, the History of Kazakhstan;

-for specialties 0519000 "Economics”, 0515000 "Management”, 0713000 "Geodesy and cartography”, 1412000 "Manufacturing building materials and constructions”, 1414000 "Furniture manufacturing”, 1401000 "Construction and exploitation of buildings and structures”, 1404000 "Cleaning constructions system of water supply and sewage”-Kazakh/Russian languages, the History of Kazakhstan, Mathematics;

-for specialty 1514000 "Ecology and rational use of natural recourses”- Kazakh/Russian languages, the History of Kazakhstan, Biology;

in two subjects (who have basic secondary education) on the volume of academic program of basic general education (Kazakh/Russian languages and in subject on profile of specialty), including:

-for specialties 0416000, 0402000- Kazakh/Russian languages;

-for specialties 0519000, 0515000, 0713000, 1412000, 1414000, 1411000, 1404000- Kazakh/Russian languages, Mathematics;

-for specialty 1514000 "Ecology and rational use of natural recourses”- Kazakh/Russian languages, Biology;

The entrants who enter the specialty "0416000-Architecture” and "0402000-Design” pass two art examinations- drawing and painting.

Persons, who have got on special (creative)examination the "unsatisfactory” mark or missing it without valid reason are not allowed to pass the other examinations.

By holding of the entrance examinations:

1) the number of tasks in each subject-30. The correct answer in each task is valued at one score. In tree subjects 2 hours 15 minutes are given in complex testing, in two subjects – 1 hour 30 minutes in complex testing. The codes of correct answers are shown straight away after scanning lists of answers, which conducted after tests. The results of complex testing are announced the same day by State commission.

2) according to the entrance exams examination marks "3”, "4”, "5” are transferred by following scheme: mark "3”-10 marks, "4”-20 marks, "5”-30 marks by Admission Committee.

13.The Appeal Commission is established at Academy in order to guaranteeing the common requirements and vexed question, examinations in subjects and to protect the rights of entrants.

Citizens who not agree with the results of tests or entrance examinations have the right to appeal.

The application is given to the appeal commission, confirmed by the chairman of State commission the same day after announcing results of entrance exams and examined by appeal commission with participation of the applicant and the conclusion is accepted.

Retake is not allowed.

14. Enrollment to full- time study is held on basis of competition from August 25 to August 30, to part- time study from September 15 to September 30.

The competition is held:

on the base of certificate marks according to the results of common national testing of current year (ENT);

on the base of certificate marks according to the results of entrance examinations, conducted in form of complex testing for the entrances to College at KazGASA;

by conducting of the competition for enrollment takes into account the sum of marks of 3 subjects shown in certificate of common state testing or complex testing.

The entrants who have got less than 20 marks from two subjects-who has basic general education and less than 30 marks from tree subjects- who has secondary general education are not allowed to participate in the competition.

Rules of admission to the Vacational School.

15. The vocational school will organize short-term courses on the next specialities: accountant «1С. 8», the administrative assistant, the operator (3DMAX, Autocad, CorelDraw), the expert in a dry method of building (work with gypsum cardboard).

Training period: from 10 days till 1 month. Upon termination of professional school certificates of the established sample stand out.

16. Following documents are necessary for reception in Vocational school at KazGASA: the statement addressed to director ПШ at KazGASA; the document on a corresponding educational level; the medical inquiry of the form №086-У; 4 photographs in the size 3x4.

Rules of admission to <b>Lyceum. </b>

17. Lyceum at KazGASA enrolling pupils from 5–11 classes by the following branches:

Architecture,

Painting and Design

Natural – technical

18. The pupils are accepted on a competitive base irrespective of place of living. The contents and form of competitive selection are defined by the state standards of education by the basic and additional general educational programs.

19. Entrants in lyceum adjoin birth certificate (copy) to the application, child’s health record, 6 photos (size 3x4).

20. Registration of documents are carried out by the admission committee of lyceum from the 20th of June to the 29th of August. Students who enroll in courses of Architecture, Painting and Design will pass art works.

21. Enrolling pupils in lyceum is based on interviewing which helps to define the level of knowledge and ability to successful work of entrants.

22. Time – frame of interviews are determined in process of a set of pupils.

3. Порядок приема в Профессиональную школу (ПШ) при КазГАСА

15. Профессиональная школа организует краткосрочные курсы по специ­альностям: бухгалтер «1С. 8», секретарь-референт, оператор (3DMAX, Autocad, CorelDraw), специалист по сухому методу строительства (работа с гипсокартоном).

Сроки обучения: от 10 дней до 1 месяца. По окончании профшколы выдаются сертификаты установленного образца.

16. Для приема в Профессиональную школу при КазГАСА необходимы следующие документы: заявление на имя директора ПШ при КазГАСА; документ о соответствующем уровне образования; медицинская справка формы №086-У; 4 фотокарточки размером 3x4.

4. Порядок приема в Лицей при КазГАСА

17. Лицей при КазГАСА осуществляет набор с 5–11 классы по следующим профильным направлениям:

• архитектура, рисунок и дизайн;

• естественно-техническое;

18. В лицей принимаются учащиеся на конкурсной основе независимо от места жительства. Содержание и форма конкурсного отбора определяются государственными стандартами образования по основным и дополнительным общеобразовательным программам.

19. Поступающие в лицей к заявлению о приеме прилагают свидетельство о рождении (копия), индивидуальную карту ребенка, 6 фотокарточек размером 3x4.

20. Прием документов поступающих проводится Приемной комиссией лицея с 20 июня по 29 августа. Учащимся, поступающим на обучение по профилю «Архитектура, Рисунок и Дизайн», необходимо сдать творческие работы.

21. Прием учащихся в лицей осуществляется в форме собеседования, в ходе которого выявляется уровень знаний и способность к успешной учебной деятельности.

22. Сроки собеседований устанавливаются по мере набора учащихся.
