DGNST was founded in may 2005 on the basis of chair "High mathematics and physics”, "Information system” and "Physical training”. At now acting dean of the department – associated professor Buganova Svetlana Nikolaevna.

Since 2001 sports club of KazGASA is a structural branch of the general natural – scientific training department.
Taking into consideration increasing popularity and requirements of KazGASA credit innovation training technique was introduced under the direction of President of KazGASA A.A. Kussainov. It gives not only sport trainings but also extracurricular activities such as sports sections.

The sports sections are headed by the sport veteran of the USSR: Yugai I.V., Kulakaev М.S., КSV: Akylov Т.J., Kusainova S. К., Aimanbetov B.Zh. — on football, volleyball, basketball, fitness, body flex, yoga, west dance, dzudo, desk tennis.

· traditional city competitions for the President’s Cup of KazGASA (April 15–22,2012.)

· sports meetings are held to select the best among the first-year course students for combined team; (November 17–20, 2012.)

· students training for the President’s standard; (October 8–12 october,2011.)

· sports meetings are held every week among the combined teams of Almaty institutes of higher education.

Applied physics in an International Educational Corporation

Section of physics concerned with thermal physics related to thermal protection of buildings and structures, acoustics connected with the spread of sound in the halls and the acoustic environment connected with the harmful effects of noise on human being issues of creating and maintaining optimum conditions for the microclimate of premises for various purposes.

Scientific work is considered in directions:

Educational research work

· Development of students’ research activities in education;

· Deepening of theoretical knowledge;

· The study of advanced methods of thermal and acoustic calculations;

· Development of mathematical and computer products — software for calculation;

· Protection settlement graphics and graduation of students and post-graduate master’s works.

Scientific research

Modeling the distribution of heat and sound waves and pressures in confined spaces;
To create a model of the experimental setup on a computer for measurement of thermal and sound field and the choice of measurement methods;
Manufacture of research products (programs, projects, certificates) relevance;
Analysis and development of thermal and energy passport of a building;
Noise analysis and the creation of noise maps of the premises;

Scientific-practical:

· Cooperation with enterprises producing TZIM;

· Development and implementation of projects in enterprises recommendations for predicting and improving the means of heat, moisture and sound insulation, maintaining the microclimate;

· Calculation of acoustics of auditoriums, clubs, etc.
