The state scholarship is nominated to the educatees by the state educational grant and the budget monthly at a rate equal to the triple size of a monthly settlement significative (it is established annually according to the Law of the RK "About the budget ").
For all educatees enrolled for the 1st course on the base of state educational grant the state maintenance allowance is allocated in the 1st semester.
The grant for the next educational semesters to all the educatees on the state order (grant, budget) is nominated and paid as the results of examination session for the previous semester. The grant is nominated to all advanced educatees by the state order and having «Good» and «Excellent» results of examination sessions.
The state grant with the appropriate extra charge (30 %) is allocated to all advanced students (not having debts by results of examination session or unsatisfactory estimations by results of intermediate certification), trainees being the orphans and children who have stayed without care of the parents.
The extra charges to the grants to separate categories of the trainees are established in a percentage ratio from the size of the usual grant. (Blind, deaf-and-dumb, at a rate of 75 %; to the invalids — 50 %); to the children — orphans and those who were left without care of the parents — 30 %; after the President of RK — 100 % (if the size of the grant is not specified in the decisions of the President of RK); after the outstanding workers — 45 %; excellent students — 15 %).
The grant is not charged to the trainees, who re-passed the examinations (except for cases of absence at examination for the valid reasons, by granting the document certifying the reason of absence per day of re-passing of examination according to the time-table).
The trainee, to whom the examination session was prolonged for the valid reason, also is included in number of the applicants for the grant.
Educational grants and scholarships for education are presented by the sponsors in purpose of social support as well as development of creative, spiritual and physical opportunities of students, preparation of the qualified specialists, competitive on a labor market lasting for 5 years inclusively.
The most gifted students, who are educated on the paid basis, but in case of different circumstances (marital status, the condition of health etc.), those who don’t have the opportunities to pay for study are entitled with the special grant of the Academy «Scholarships». The obligatory condition for award of the special grant is the excellent progress by the results of examination session. In different cases as an exception this grant can be awarded to the students having no more than two «good» marks by the results of the examination session as well as to the handicapped-students. The detailed statement of conditions of awarding the special grants can be found in "Rules about the order of awarding the special grant of Academy (Scholarships) ", authorized by the decision of scientific council of KazGASA.
The nominal grants (Presidential, named by other outstanding persons) are nominated by the decision of Scientific Council of the academy, (the size is defined by the appropriate legislative or normative legal acts of the KR).
The size of the special grants are determined by the decision maker.
The state grant is not given to the student entitled the special or nominal grant, (i.e. the student has the right only to one grant).

To the candidates for the Master’s degree who study by the state order, the size of the state grant is established at a level of the state grant of the students.
To the postgraduates trained on the budget base (the state order), the size of the grant is established at a rate of the official salary of the junior scientific employee (without a scientific degree) of state scientific organization.
To the candidates of the Doctor’s degree, enlisted on the full-time Doctor’s course on the state order, the grant can be increased to the point of the earlier received salary, but no more than official salary of the Associate Professor.
