THE RULES OF ADMISSION

The Kazakh leading academy of architecture and civil engineering (further – KazGASA) realizes training of specialists with secondary education (main, general, technical and professional), high, graduate education, pre-training (upgrade qualifications) of staff, architectural-construction specialists. In Academy it is carried out full-time, part-time and distance training. Training is carried out in State (Kazakh), Russian and English languages. To Academy there can be admissible the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign citizens and persons without citizenships who have secondary, general, primary professional (technical and professional), secondary professional (postsecondary) and high education.
The Kazakh Leading Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering realizes training of bachelors on next specialities: 5B042000 – Architecture, 5B042100 – Design, 5B050600 – Economics, 5B050800 – Accounting and Audit, 5B071100 – Geodesy and Cartography, 5B072900 – Construction, 5B072500 – Technology of woodworking, 5B073000 – Production of building materials, manufacture and constructions.
Admission to Academy is carried out by state budget financing, placing state educational order for preparing specialists (educational grants), and payment for education is paid by own funds of citizens and other sources. The citizens who graduated from the technical and professional, after secondary education to related specialties for short-training on a paid basis to Academy are carried out by Admission Commission after passing entrance exam in oral form.

The citizens who enter to specialties 5B042000, 5B042100 on above mentioned category pass two creative exams besides interview. Reception of applications to creative specialties is carried out by Admission Commission from June 20 to July The quantity of creative exams are two.
Creative exams are held on from July 2 to July Reception application for entering to creative specialties is carried out in a place where the institution is situated.
The term of reseption of the applications on participation in general complex testing is from June 20 till July Complex testing is conducted from 17 to July 23.
Awarding of educational grants are carried out according to contest on specific specialties and language department in accordance with State order. Application in participant in the contest getting educational grant is admitted from July 23 to July 31. Enrolling is carried out by the Admission Committee of the Academy from August10 till August 25. Enrolling on paid training according the scores got at complex testing of current year, who took Common National testing, participants of complex testing, who got according to testing results not less than 50 scores for the next subjects: in Kazakh and Russian (study language), the History of Kazakhstan, Mathematics, and chosen subject, including not less than 7 scores on profile subject (not less than 10 scores in each creating examinations), and the rest subjects not less than 4 scores. For entrants, who have the highest score in certificates according to the Common national testing or complex testing, and also to entrants from needy families the Academy carried out the competition for educational grants "Scholarships ”.
The holders of "Scholarships”grants, by the results of the first examination session with "excellent” marks, continue education on grant according to the rules about the order of awarding the special grant "Scholarships”. Otherwise, students pay for their education in corpora, that is from the first semester of first course.

Rules of admission on the Master’s course.
The citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreign citizens and persons without the citizenship having basic higher and higher vocational education and those who has shown propensity to scientific work are accepted to the master’s course of KazGASA on these specialties:

Citizens having the general rating marks less than 4, 0 (by the 5 degrees scale) during the whole academic years in former levels are not allowed to the enrollment to master’s Course by the state order. Application procedure is carried out from July 01 to July 31; entrance examinations are carried out from August 01 to August 20, enrolling till August 31.
Citizens entering the Maser’s Course pass entrance exams in a foreign language (English, German, French) and a subject on specialty. Citizens got less than 8 marks (by 4 marks scale of estimation of knowledge in each subject) totally of entrance examination in a foreign language and in a subject on specialty are not allowed to the enrolling to Master’s Course.
In case of equality of marks citizens with excellent diploma about professional education are preferred. The enrolling to Maser’s Course is carried out by Admission Committee of the Academy till August 31.

Entrance examinations are carried out for the citizens:
who have general secondary education, technical and professional education (the current year pupils of organization of general secondary education, who studied by international pupils’ exchange program abroad, with Uigur, Uzbek and Tadzhik languages study, who studied in Republican musical boarding schools, in organizations of technical and professional education, entering not on close specialties, and also graduates of the past years):
- in tree subjects (who have general secondary education) on the volume of academic program of general secondary education (in Kazakh or Russian languages, History of Kazakhstan and in subject of profile);
- in two subjects (who have basic secondary education) on the volume of academic program of basic general education (in Kazakh/Russian languages and in subject on profile of specialty).

Application procedure is held:
who enters College under KazGASA full-time of study from July 20 to August 20, part -time study from June 20 to September 20. The entrance examinations of full- time study are conducted from August 1 to August 28, to part- time study from August 1 to September 25.
Receiving the documents to full- time study on specialties: 0640002, 0639002 is carried out from June 20 to July 20, special (creative) examinations are conducted from July 21 to July 28.
Enrollment to full- time study is held on basis of competition from August 25 to August 30, to part- time study from September 15 to September 30.
21. The entrants who have got less than 20 marks from two subjects-who has base general education and less than 30 marks from tree subjects- who has secondary general education are not allowed to participate in the competition.
Enrolling in vocational school is on a base of interviewing. Training period:
• On a base of general secondary education (11 classes) — 1 month – 1 year
• On a base of fundamental education (9 classes) — with getting general secondary education – 2 years
• On a base of fundamental education (9 classes) – without getting general secondary education – 1–2 years
Lyceum by KazGASA enrolling pupils from 5–11 classes by the following branches:
• Architecture, Painting and Design
• Natural – technical
Registration of documents is carried out by the admission committee of lyceum from the 20 th of June to the 29 th of August. Students who enroll in courses of Architecture, Painting and Design pass art works.

Enrolling in Institute of continuous education by KazGASA
The main Idea of Institute of continuous education by KazGASA is organize and held short-term courses of development of vocational competence, retraining of specialists of higher educational schools of architectural-building branches of RK according to licensed specialties, consulting facilitation in building problems. On the courses of development of vocational competence and retraining are admitted citizens who have secondary professional education, higher professional education, or on agreed basis with organizations, firms, companies, or by government order.
Duration of short-term courses is 2–6 weeks
After termination of courses of development of vocational competence to the students are given certificates of the established sample.
