Scientific Centre "New technologies, materials and structures in civil engineering” has been operating since April 2000 in International Educational Corporation. <br> Director of SC — Aksaya Sansyzbaevna Estemesova.

Aksaya Sansyzbaevna Estemesova, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associate professor of DCTIM. Has defended her Candidate’s dissertation in following specialties: <br> 05.17.11 — Technology of silicate refractory non-metallic materials;

25.00.36 — Geoecology.

She is an expert-auditor to validate production of building materials, products and constructions since 2005.

She is a technical expert in the field of building materials, products and constructions since 2009.

The main directions of scientific and research activity in IEC are:

ü conducting of national students’ contests and conferences;

ü implementation of scientific research according to orders of enterprises and organizations;

ü formation of new technologies;

ü implementation of research and elaboration results into production and training process;

ü execution of scientific and research programs (institutional, national and international) in main directions of construction development;

ü international cooperation and cooperation in the field of scientific research and elaboration;

ü participation in competitions and in international grants for researching in the field of construction, architecture, economics and ecology;

ü organization of exhibitions, conferences and seminars;

ü involvement in research and production activity of undergraduate and postgraduate students and teachers.

Scientific activity in IEC is carried out thanks to the expense of budgetary and obtaining funds.

The results of the scientists’ researches of the Academy were introduced in the enterprises of construction industry such as JSC "Butovsky Plant” (Russia), JSC "Chelyabinsk Construction and Road Machines”, Taraz factory "Building structures”, LPA "Stroytcentre”, LPA "Polymir”, LPA "Syr-Darya”, LPA "SVP-Contract”, "KazStroyService”, LPA "Aksay”, LPA "VSD”, LPA "Turkuaz Invest”, LPA "Tol Kurylys”, LPA "Park Invest”, LPA "Magnetic” and etc.

IEC is a holder of state license SSL № 017286 in the production of certain types of building materials, constructions and products, design and survey and construction works on the territory of Kazakhstan.

Scientific Centre of IEC organizes and coordinates scientific and research activities in Academy. Also it provides information services for teaching staff in Academy about forthcoming competitions and tenders and works to attract and search potential customers for having joint scientific and research programs.

In order to promote scientific research work among young teachers of academy, Scientific Centre established Council of Young Scientists (CYS).

There are also 11 academic events. The staff of KazGASA takes active part in international scientific-practical conferences hold by enterprises, big companies and leading universities of Kazakhstan.
