Office Registrar has been created in KazGASA according to the order № 386 of 03.08.2001 of Ministry of Education and Science with amendments and changes of 07.06. 2003 about the scientific – pedagogical experiment. It is a structural division of the Academy engaged in admission and graduation of specialists of all levels and stages of education, controls the quality of students preparing, and arranges placement test, midterm and final control of students’ knowledge, keeps statistics. The Office acts according to "the Law on education” of the RK, the Rules of organization of Universities’ activities, Regulation of KazLAACE: admission, attestation and graduation of students, academic process and practices, other legal acts of the RK in the field of education.

Main directions of the Office Registrar are:
- work organization of Admission Committee;
- control of teaching quality;
- organization and control of term examinations;
- organization of placement test;
- organization of graduation (control of final state certification of seniors and handing diplomas);
- movement of the student’s contingent;
- statistics and reports.

Main functions of Office Registrar:
- Conducting special (artistic) examinations and complex testing for entrants;
- Organization and control of interviews for entrants on reduced educational programmes and terms;
- Preparing orders on enlisting, transferring and restoring of the students;
- Inputting in academic process KazLAACE of test-rating system;
- Organizing system of testing according to approved standards of the RK;
- Collection of material and making bank of given tests for a placement test and examination sessions of the educates according to the validated graphs;
- Organization of a diagnostic test (except freshmen), examination sessions;
- Preparing suggestions on awarding and punishing teaching staff at the result of all types of control;
- Preparing suggestions on awarding and punishing professors and teachers staff at the result of all types of control;
- Keeping all forms in order (ID, diplomas, academic certificates);
- Conducting examination sessions at all departments; passing the results of sessions to corresponding dean’s offices for analysis and current work (of advisors).
