Distance traning and testing department (DTTD) was organized in 2000 and it is traning-educational and scientific-elucidative link of KazGASA, representing the progressive educational services to professor- teaching composition (PTC), post-graduates, students, school-leavers of KazGASA by means of modern information-educational technologies. Main directions of DTTD work are the rendering educational-methodical and information-technical assistance in optimization the traning process of KazGASA and maintaining the test-examination system of controlof students knowledge of most new computer technologies.

In this time basic problems of DTTD are following:

• development new effective methods of teaching and knowledge estimate of students and introduction them in the education process;
• organization the efficient using resources of global network «Internet» in the traning process, the rendering of user’s servises to students;
• the introduction new innovation methods of disnance leaning;
• conversion traning and improvement of skill of specialists and managerialpersonnel of industrial enterprise RK based on distance learning using lifeware of KazGASA scientific-pedagogical staffs;
• the rendering additional educational, consultative, engineering, economic, organizational, marketing and intermediary services;
• introduction the electronic library network.

DTTD is developed and implanted to traning process the software «The examiner-test», which allows to carry out the computer control of knowledge estimate of learning and Academy workers. The computer examinations are carried out with the purpose to estimation knowledge learning level over disciplines, sdudied not only in educational semester, but also over the whole course, as well as over the fundamental profiling disciplines for the all traning period and knowledge input cut. Workers who ingoing for work to KazGASA are take the computer control knowledge on ownership by the National and English languages, as well as computer literacy.

Introduced the electronic library, which is constantly replenished by electronic editions with educational purpose.
DTTD has started the introduction a distance education (DE) in KazGASA, as one of progressive modern forms of teaching: is formed the required infrastructure and principally the own local network of Academy, allowing to produce the operatioanl information exchange between all sections, to provide them the access to central the database and to Internet resources.

Today is carried out the intensive work for creation the on-line version of existing methodical materials and electronic carriers under the leadership of teautor and performing the control task in the test form on each section of education programs. The traning time of one educational course (discipline) makes up 1–3 month depending on amont of educational hrs, foreseen by the curriculum for study this course.

The DTTD structural subdivision is the Computer-technical centre (CTC), which had been created in 2000 with the purposes of introduction in traning process new information systems and provision and maintenance all of Academy by computer and clerical aids. There are 16 computer classes in the CTC.

In the DTTD is operated the Internet-Centre. The professor-teaching compsition and learning can to work in Internets Web. For teachers it is not only the acquaintance with news in various spheres of science and technology, the obtaining the information about performing international conferences and symposiums, but also the possibility to use information resources of Internet in raning process.

Taking into account the forms and methods diversity of development of distance education, to DTTD was given the problem to select the most efficient method for aim achievement, which was as a base for DE development srategy based on sequential problem solution within frameworks of seven steps. A great part of steps already is elapsed, in the near future will begin the implementation of most impotant components of DE information support- the introduction multi-media courses.

The development of DE system makes possible to complete provision of citizen needs for the generation acquisition, the presentation to wide ranges of population educational possibilities on essential skills of KazGASA
