College of Kaz LAACE as a structural subdepartment of Kazakh leading academy of architecture and civil engineering was formed on the basis of three colleges: college of architecture and design («CAD»), building-ecologic college («BEC»), economics college («EC»).

College was opened in april 2000 with the purpose of providing unremitting and additional multi-level education . Educational activity is provided in three directions 1. Architecture and design; 2. Building-ecological; 3. Economics. We prepare specialists with secondary professional education in the field of architecture, design, building and economics in accordance with requirements of project and construction firms, design studios, advertisement agencies and other organizations.

Our students are able to accomplish graphic elaboration of project decision, carry out other kinds of work in accordance with the qualification in the modern level.

In college of Kaz LAACE education is provided on the basis of basic general and secondary general education, by the following specialties.

• Specialty 0640002 - Design, full time department, education period: 2 years 10 months(after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months(after the 11th form), qualification- technician designer. Specialty 0639002- Architecture, full time department, education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form) 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), qualification-technician-architect.
• Specialty 17003002 - Ecology and rational utilization of natural resources (in branches) full time department- education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form ), correspondence course- education period: 2 years 6 months, qualification technician- technologist- ecologist.
• Specialty 4320002 - Water- supply, full time department education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form ), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form) correspondence course- education period: 2 years 6 months, qualification technician – builder.
• Specialty 4303002 - Construction and exploitation of buildings and structures, full time department- education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), correspondence course- education period is 2 years 6 months, qualification- technician- builder.
• Specialty 2936002 - Mechanization and automation (in branches) full time department, education period : 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form) correspondence course- education period: 2 years 6 months, qualification- technician- builder- electrical- mechanic.
• Specialty 0705002 - Economics, accountancy and audit (in branches), full time department education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), correspondence course- education period: 2 years 6 months, qualification economist- accountant, accountant- auditor.
• Specialty 0712002 - Management (in branches) full time department- education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), correspondence course- education period: 2 years 6 months, qualification- manager.
• Specialty 4342002 - Technology of wood- work, full time department- education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), correspondence course- education period is 2 years 6 months, qualification- technician- technologist.
• Specialty 4337002 - Production of building materials and construction, full time department- education period: 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), correspondence course- education period is 2 years 6 months, qualification technician- builder.
• Specialty 3201002 - Applied geodesy, full time department, education period is 2 years 10 months (after the 9th form), 1 year 10 months (after the 11th form), correspondence course- education period: 2 years 6 months, qualification technician- geodesist.

At college is taught computer graphics, students acquire knowledge and skills of Auto-Cad, 3 D max etc. Education is conducted by new experimental educational plans, and the credit system. After the graduating students may continue the education at Kazakh leading academy of architecture and civil engineering.

The Teaching staff of College is consists of leading and experienced teachers of the academy such as academic professor d.t.s. Omarov S. S., c. arch. Assos. Professor Kosmerydy S. K. honourable professor of «SK» department Kuziutin A. T. and others.

The students of College have industrial practice, industrial and graduation practice at the well known historical- architectural building sites, at big project organizations of Almaty such as Almaty Union of architects and designers «Almatygyprogor- 1», «Almaty Kurilis», «Gor. Vodokanal», «Almaty- Kultbitstroy», and others.

Since 2002 students of college have been exhibiting their achievements such as architectural- design projects, architectural graphics, modeling and composition at «Atakent».

Profess. Assist. Novikova. G. A. is director of college since 2002. Prof. ass. Tolganbaev A. J. is director's assistant in educational- upbringing work. Prof. ass. Shudabaeva G. R. is responsible for the methodical work of college.
